Pe'ahi Maui is on. Huge Swell Hits Jaws

Huge early winter swell firing at Pe'ahi Maui for Big Wave Challenge.
Some monster waves were ridden. Check out the highlights of yesterdays action at the
WSL website. More action in store for today. Sick waves being scored. The action is insane.
The level of big wave riding is through the roof. Jaws comes through big time.

On the pro surfing tour both men's and women's title race is super tight. John John Florence is still leading with Gabrial Medina and Jordy Smith right behind and Julian Wilson is in striking distance as well.

The women's side of the action is a super close nail biter with only 1 surf contest left. Sally Fitzgibbons holds on to a narrow lead....I don't want to say it, but she has been close before and come up short. She has to surf solid and stay focused and a little luck wouldn't hard either. Sally is a sentimental favorite just because Fitzgibbons has been on the cusp of a world title year after year. Tyler Wright and Courtney Conlogue are so close behind it's crazy. Carissa Moore and Stephanie Gilmore are within striking distance if things go their way.  If aren't watching the women's race you're missing some sick surfing. The ladies are flat out ripping.
