Mammoth is Open Sort of...Snow Summit Big Bear opens today

Well Mammoth is open kind of...pretty weak. They are saying five trails are open and zero lifts. That doesn't sound very open to me.

No Half Pipes!!

12" at the Main Lodge and it's going to be in the high 40's and low 50's, like 50 degrees today.
I guess they blew some snow. It's getting cold enough at night but the day time temps are killing it.

The forecast looks crappy. 

Possible rain on Thanksgiving and rain on the 28th temps still to high on those days in the high 40's. 

Tahoe isn't any better...58 degrees there today.

Big Bear Snow Summit has 16" base and 24" of man made snow. 

2 lifts are open and 2 trails open. On their cam it actually looks kind of fun and ok for skiing and basic 

snowboarding carving and cruising. I might take a run up there just to start the season early.

They are making snow but temps are mid 50's during the day.

So maybe go surfing, not there are any waves really... or got to the skatepark.

California is still on fire, no rain in forecast.
