Ian Walsh at 34 years old was charging hard. Walsh scored a perfect 10 in the semifinals then backed that up with a a huge sick barrel in the finals.

A perfect 10 was had by Ryan Hipwood as well.
Makua Rothman won semifinal 1 at Jaws with some guts and solid surfing. Setting up stacked Jaws finals consisting of surfers Ian Walsh, Billy Kemper, Makua Rothman, Kai Lenny, Greg Long and Ryan Hipwood. They finished in that order. Ian Walsh scoring a 10 in the finals with a huge perfect Jaws barrel. So sick!  If you missed it, check it out at the WSL website and watch the highlights.

Congrats to all the surfers, men and women who paddled out and into some massive Pe'Ahi drops. You guys are sick! This was a epic Jaws contest. Pe'Ahi came through big time and  Mike Parsons made a great call on the swell and conditions. So congrats to Parsons as well. Now he can sleep.
